There are many interesting ideas on how RunaWFE project could be enhanced in future. Those that look as the most practical today fall into several basic categories:

  • Form engine improvements
    • This includes a support for third-party form-renderers like JSF support for RunaWFE-specific elements in GPD FCK-editor.
  • Customization support improvements
    • A number of new task handlers, action handlers organizational functions and GUI elements could be developed to make RunaWFE easily customizable for concrete needs and serving as an example for new developments.

3.x versions

  • RunaWFE 3.0 release is planned
